THE SHOWROOM
Three houses we would put our name beside.
Four more we trust to finish the system.
CasaHiFi Stereo is a listening room, not a catalog. We represent a small number of makers whose work we know intimately, set them up properly, and let you hear the difference in a room built for it. Appointments only, so the room is yours.
BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK · SINCE 1949
McIntosh
The blue meters are the part everyone recognizes. What they measure is the point: amplifiers built to deliver their full rated power into any loudspeaker, hand-assembled in the same building for seventy-five years, and engineered to be serviced rather than replaced. A McIntosh system is the one your grandchildren will argue over.
MA12000
Hybrid integrated · tube preamp, 350W solid-state
MC275
Vacuum-tube stereo amplifier · in production since 1961
MT5
Precision turntable · magnetic-bearing platter
VICENZA, ITALY · SINCE 1983
Sonus faber
Loudspeakers built the way Cremona built violins: solid walnut, hand-finished leather, cabinets shaped like a lute because the shape sounds better, not because it photographs better. The voicing is warm, dimensional and unforced, which is why they disappear into a room instead of dominating it. In a Miami interior, nothing else looks as right.
Amati
Homage collection · the reference floorstander
Olympica III
Third generation · three-way floorstander
Sonetto V G2
The living-room floorstander · dual woofers
SAINT-ETIENNE, FRANCE · SINCE 1979
Focal
Focal makes its own drivers, down to the beryllium tweeter, and it shows: speed, precision and a sense of scale that few makers at any price can match. We carry the lines from Kanta upward, where the full technology is present, through Sopra to the Utopia reference, plus the Diva Utopia actives built with Naim electronics inside.
Grande Utopia EM Evo
The reference · electromagnetic woofer
Sopra No.2
Three-way floorstander · beryllium tweeter
Diva Utopia
Active wireless · Focal acoustics, Naim electronics
